Leather
Squabs, bean bags, furniture and bespoke applications. Done properly, leather outlasts everything else.
Leather on a boat lives a different life to leather in a living room. UV, salt and moisture demand different hides, adhesives and fixings. We know both worlds and build accordingly.
What customers say
★★★★★ 4.9 · 56 Google reviews →“Sebastian did a great job of recovering my dental chair — it looks great and is much more comfortable than it was before! He worked through the weekend to have it done by Monday so we didn’t have any down time.”
“Sebastian recovered my late mother’s chair that we all associate with mum. The work is absolutely fantastic and was completed in super fast time. I would recommend Sebastian’s workmanship to all.”
Asked often
Q01Can worn leather furniture be recovered?
Usually, yes. If the frame and padding are sound, recovering in new leather gives you what is effectively a new piece at a fraction of the cost of quality new furniture.
Q02Is leather suitable for boats?
Yes, with the right leather and construction. Marine leather work needs UV-resistant hides, moisture-tolerant construction and the right fixings. We have been making leather boat squabs for decades.
Q03What leathers do you work with?
A range of upholstery-grade hides in different finishes and colours, plus suede for beanbags. We can source specific colours and finishes on request.
