Marine
Patterned off your boat at the berth and made by a sailmaker. Covers, spray hoods, squabs and canvas that handle the Hauraki Gulf.
Sailmaking apprenticeship in Germany. Five years with Auckland sailmakers. Seven years in awning manufacture. Then CoverMania, since 2005. When a spray hood has to survive a winter on a swing mooring, that background matters.

Asked often
Q01Do you come to the marina to measure?
Yes. For boat covers, spray hoods and clears we come to your berth to measure and pattern directly off the boat. That is how you get a proper fit.
Q02What fabrics do you use for boat covers?
Solution-dyed acrylics like Planasol and Sunbrella for covers that need to breathe, and PVC-coated polyester where full waterproofing matters. We advise on the right choice for how and where your boat lives.
Q03Can you repair an existing cover rather than replace it?
Often, yes. Seams and zips usually fail before the fabric does. Send photos and we will tell you honestly whether a repair or a replacement makes more sense.
Q04How long does a custom boat cover take?
Typically 2-4 weeks from measure to fitting depending on workload and fabric availability. We will give you a timeframe with your quote.
Q05Do you deliver and install?
Yes. We deliver and fit at your berth, or you can collect from the workshop.
